Turntables on the Chao Phraya the New weekly event on Sunday at Bangkok Island.

2 years ago Nickodemus and Nappy G blessed our Dancefloor/ Party Boat with some unique World Grooves and House and we were seriously blown away : Ir was the first Iteration of Turntables on the Chao Phraya : which is inspired by Nickodemus’ Turntables on the Hudson (going on for 30 years already!). It’s a warm sound with Latin, African, Arabic influences and with a fun House beat.

Now our ambition is to keep this sound as a signature of Bangkok Island and to invite other local and international Artists that fit this vibe every sunday. For the First one we Host Mizuyo, Bangkok island Longest running DJ with the drive to keep the legacy running.

We want to do this event Free for all as a final end to the week end where everyone can meet again after the craziness and vibe together, Watch the sunset with the view on the Jungle of Bang Krachao. The Boat will stay still but we hope everyone will grove together.

Line up :

4-6 PM Yuval Bangkok Island boat and World Groove amateur maybe Back to back with his Wife Rainny.

6-8 PM Mizuyo : The Japanese Native has long been adopted by Bangkok Island with her fun vibe and digs. Some vinyls will come out !

8- 10 PM Karboni : The Italian DJ is here to show his original Tracks. First Show on Bangkok Island.

This event happens on Bangkok island a unique Party Boat / Cultural centre on the Chao Phraya. Docked on rama 3 soi 64 its not far from Sukhumvit and Sathorn, has parking and great view on Bang Krachao : Bangkok’s Green Lung, we recommend everyone to chill there in the afternoon for a bit of cycling or walking in the jungle and come see us for sunset.
