INNER COMMONS: A Practice Series for Systemic Leadership

For this Inner Commons Summer Edition, this multi-themed pods curated by Nurvitria Mumpuniarti (RootedRipples), Sulis Tyawati (Somia Academy), and Denny Halim

In a world unraveling at the edges, how do we root deeper?
How do we lead, listen, and live with more clarity, agility, and presence?

Inner Commons is a somatic, reflective, and systemic community of practice for changemakers, leaders, (product and service) designers, facilitators, and movement-builders across all sectors.

Rather than just tools and theories, this space offers real-time practice pods — not podcasts, but intimate 2-hour online sessions where we explore what it means to lead from the inside out.

We are not talking about performance. It’s about practicing our presences.

While some of us are already occupied about strategies outside in the world, we're here exploring our inner infrastructure that supports those outer structural alignment.

These are some of the pain points we are leaning onto:

• Systems thinkers feel overwhelmed, frozen in despair.
• Designers forget how to truly listen, stuck in methodologies.
• Leaders get caught in structure, missing what wants to emerge.
• Activists burn out in anger and frustrations, disconnected from deeper ground.
• Communicators get lost in form, forgetting to speak from the heart

We meet in these edges, and collectively and individually, we enquire on

“how do we lead and live with more ease, depth, coherence, and humanity in complex times?”

🌀 Some of what we explore in the four pods this Winter 2025 : 

• How to re-center and return to the Self (with a big S)

• How to listen through layers — in self, teams, and systems

• How to ask questions, heart-centered that regenerates clarity, compassion and connection

• How to tell stories that hold both grief and emergence
