The Art of Ayurveda: Ancient Practices Meet Modern Science
Description:
In this daylong workshop, students will learn Ayurveda’s core practices and principles around diet, lifestyle, and daily routines (dinacharyas), as well as diagnostic tools such as pulse taking, tongue reading, and digestive analysis. We will explore ancient Ayurvedic techniques on how to regulate circadian rhythms, practice self massage and self compassion, how to eat right for your type (dosha), and more practices deeply rooted in tradition. Ayurvedic skills and wisdom can help mitigate the negative effects of the modern world while increasing health, vitality, and longevity. Includes a kitchari lunch from Usada.
