Join us for Día de los Muertos: A Night of Remembrance & Celebration an evening to honor those we’ve loved and lost, and to celebrate the eternal dance between life and death.

Inspired by Mexico’s Día de los Muertos traditions, this gathering blends sacred ritual, creative expression, and tribal movement, held in Solana’s signature way: reverent yet joyful, ceremonial yet alive.

Guests are invited to bring photos or small tokens of their departed loved ones to place on our collective ofrenda altar, share stories or songs during the Open Mic of Remembrance, and close the night with a tribal ecstatic dance that bridges worlds, from grief into gratitude, from memory into movement.

This is not a night of mourning, but of remembering together that love never dies.

Evening Flow

🕯 5:30 – 6:15 PM — Arrival & Ofrenda Altar Ritual
Receive marigolds as you enter. Together we’ll ground, light candles, and offer prayers of remembrance in a collective altar ceremony guided by our host.

🎤 6:15 – 7:30 PM — Open Mic of Remembrance
Share a story, poem, song, or any performance for those you love. Each voice adds light to the altar, a circle of memory, expression, and soul. 

🥗 7:30 – 8:15 PM — Dinner & Community Connection
Nourish and ground with vegetarian tapas inspired by the Día de los Muertos color palette. Slow conversations, candlelight, and warmth shared in community.

💃 8:15 – 9:30 PM — Tribal Ecstatic Dance: “Dancing Between Worlds”
A powerful movement journey led by our DJ honoring the rhythm of life, death, and rebirth through dance. We close in silence and gratitude to the ancestors.

🎤 Open Mic of Remembrance

This is a heartfelt space to honor loved ones through poetry, story, or song. Each participant will have up to 5 minutes to share their piece.

Kindly note:

• Bring your own instrument if you plan to perform music — we’ll provide a mic and sound setup.

• You’re welcome to bring a photo or memento of the person you’re honoring.

• A candle will be lit after each sharing to symbolize each soul remembered.
