Intimate, casual, and dance-focused, with an emphasis on quality music and sound.

This Week’s Curator: DAME BAMBU

Music lover & eclectic digger for over 20 years, Dame Bambu from South Brittany-France, settled in Ubud 7 months ago after spending 10 years living abroad & 5 years in Saint-Etienne, where she had become a dj and active member/ resident at the Aleatronome community web radio with her monthly show ‘Animale Liquide’. 

Approaching djying as a multi-genre lifelong dancer, she found a haven & creative energy outlet at Resonanz weekly gathering to let herself go, to remain like bamboo “Bend but never break”. She loves to slow-cook emotional-mental landscape sound collages in a space continuum under the sign of fusion and improvisation based on a carefully refined selecta, with hints of disruption. 

Sewing with a leftfield psychedelic common thread, she will embark you on a deep, modern retro-progressive and percussive journey through ambient, trip-hop, breakbeat, dub, atmospheric techno & hypnotic trance, uniting souls on our dear common ground.
