2. Will I see extra charges at checkout?

3. Are the shows suitable for children?
Yes. The Nutcracker is one of the world's most beloved family ballets — the costumes, the storytelling, and Tchaikovsky's score work on every age.
Every guest needs a ticket, including children. Minimum age is 3.
Do keep in mind the performance runs about 2 hours — worth a moment's thought about whether your child is ready to sit through it. The Saturday 2:00 PM matinee is the easiest session for young children.
4. What should I wear?
Smart casual to formal is recommended, but there is no mandatory dress code. Come as you feel comfortable.
The theatre is strongly air-conditioned — a light layer is a good idea.
5. Is food and drink available at the venue?
Yes. Food and drinks are served at the pre-show Cocktail Session and Meet & Greet, and there are F&B counters in the foyer.
There is a 30-minute intermission between the two acts. Total running time is about 2 hours.
Outside food and drink may not be brought in.
6. Is it a live orchestra or recorded music?
The score is high-quality orchestral music recorded by the Hermitage Orchestra, played in full through the theatre's sound system.
7. Can I take photos or videos?
Yes — phone photos and short videos for your own memories or a social post are welcome.
Not allowed: professional cameras and flash. Please keep filming brief rather than continuous, keep your screen dim, and keep your phone silent. The curtain call is the best moment to film.
8. Is there parking at the venue?
Yes — ample parking across the connected Newport Mall and hotel parking structures, entered via the Newport Boulevard gate. Standard mall rates apply.

The car park fills quickly before large events, so allow extra time.
There is no train station at Newport World Resorts. By rail, take LRT-1 or MRT-3 to EDSA, then a short Grab or taxi ride of about 1.5 km — please don't walk it, the EDSA stretch isn't pedestrian-friendly at night.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the theatre building, including e-cigarettes and vapes.

10. My child has never been to the theatre. What should I tell them?
Three things:
1. Nobody speaks or sings. The dancers tell the whole story through movement and music — nothing to understand in advance.
2. What happens. A Christmas party, a toy Nutcracker that comes alive, a battle with the Mouse King, then a journey to a magical island. Act I ends with the battle; after the intermission, Act II is pure celebration.
3. What we do. Stay in your seat, whisper if you need to say something, and clap loudly at the end of each act.
Arrive early — the foyer, the tree, and the costumes are half the magic. Use the intermission for the restroom trip, not mid-act. The Saturday matinee is the gentlest first visit.
11. Is it okay to attend alone?
Absolutely. A single seat is often the best seat in the house — you get to choose the exact view you want rather than a pair or a block.
12. Is there accessible seating?
Yes — 2 wheelchair spaces in the front row, with companion seating alongside. Service animals assisting guests with disabilities are welcome in the theatre.

Tickets, Refunds & Resale
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except as provided in the full Terms & Conditions or required by law. Resale or commercial use voids the ticket.
Changes, Rescheduling & Cancellation
Show content, programme, cast, and timing may change without notice; performers are indicative only, and such changes do not entitle you to a refund.
If the event is rescheduled, tickets remain valid for the new date; a face-value refund may be requested within 14 days of the announcement. If the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, the face value of the ticket will be refunded as the sole remedy; travel and other expenses are not compensated.
Admission & Age Policy
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person without refund. Admission is subject to venue rules, security checks, and any government measures in force.
No admission for infants in arms and children below 3 years old; children aged 3 and above must purchase a ticket. Content suitability for minors is the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
Photography, Filming & Your Image
Photography and video or audio recording of any kind are not permitted, unless limited non-flash, non-professional shooting is expressly announced by the Organiser for a particular performance. The event may be filmed — by entering, you consent to the use of your image in recordings and marketing.
Images and descriptions on this page (including sessions, add-ons, and packages) are illustrative; some photos show past productions. Photo opportunities at Meet & Greet sessions are subject to session time and artist availability and are not guaranteed for every attendee.
