ARC Sudirman is thrilled to present Joey Alexander & Indonesia All-Stars: New Vibrations, an evening that brings together GRAMMY-nominated pianist Joey Alexander with a hand-picked ensemble of Indonesia’s leading musicians. He will be joined by vocalist Dira Sugandi, bassist Barry Likumahuwa, harmonica player Rega Dauna, and US drummer Tyson Jackson.

At a young age, Bali-born pianist Joey Alexander appeared in the global eye when he gained the attention of  jazz greats Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, and Chick Corea. His debut album My Favorite Things earned him his first Grammy nomination in 2016, making Alexander the youngest jazz artist ever nominated for a Grammy. His artistry has taken him from the Obama White House to Carnegie Hall, the Grammy Awards to the Grand Ole Opry, with profiles on 60 Minutes and in The New York Times.

This year, Joey Alexander returns to Indonesia after more than a decade abroad with New Vibrations, an extension of his latest album Celestial Keeper. He brings the spirit of collaboration into a live performance featuring a selection of Indonesian artists.
