Meeting Your Inner Child
Meeting Your Inner Child
Exploring the patterns that drive our lives.
Somewhere along the way, life happened.
You grew up. You learned which parts of you were welcome, and which ones were "too much". You got busy. You got good at being okay. And slowly, without noticing, you stopped visiting the child you used to be. Until one day you almost couldn't find them at all.
That child never left. They just went quiet. And the patterns you keep repeating now, the same fear that circles back, the same argument, the same kind of person you keep choosing, are often that younger self, still asking for attention, still asking to feel safe. Beneath the choices, there's a pattern. Now you have a chance to meet it, in a safe and guided space.
In solidarity with World Mental Health Awareness Day, Sovēra Collective and Samyama Self-healing Center invite you into an afternoon of return.
Guided by Andee Wu of Samyama Self-healing Center in Bali, a retreat space devoted to inner child healing and shadow work, you'll meet the version of you that learned to hide, understand how your persona and your shadow took shape, and begin building a relationship with the parts you once pushed away. Not to fix them. To finally listen.
Because the inner child isn't something to grow out of. It's the fullest version of who you are.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPLORE
- A guided practice to meet your inner child
- How your persona formed, and what your shadow holds
- Recognising your triggers, and the wound beneath them
- First steps toward safety, acceptance, and coming home to yourself
WHO IT'S FOR
Anyone carrying something quietly. Anyone tired of repeating the same pattern and ready to understand where it began.
ABOUT ANDEE WU

Andee Wu is the owner and CEO of Samyama Self-healing Center in Bali, a retreat space devoted to inner child healing and shadow work.
His own path didn't begin in a retreat room. He graduated with honors from New York University in Finance and Economics, and stepped into the fast, external life that credential opens. By every visible marker it was working. What it didn't do was hold him, and in time the gap between the life he'd built and the person living it grew too wide to ignore. So he left, not in crisis, but in answer to a quieter question about who he might be underneath the achievement.
He has since given his life to walking that road with others. His work draws on Jungian depth psychology, Joseph Campbell's hero's journey, Peter Levine's somatic work, and Richard Schwartz's Internal Family Systems, a way of meeting the protective parts of ourselves with curiosity rather than force. A Yoga Alliance Certified Meditation and Breathwork Facilitator, he is currently pursuing his Master's in Psychology at the University of Roehampton.
What that looks like in the room is unhurried. Nothing is pushed. You're never asked to perform your pain or share more than you want to. Andee's role isn't to fix or interpret you, but to hold a steady, patient space beside yours, so your own material can surface at the pace it chooses.
