Witness the ancient tradition of Dhrupad come alive through the voices and rhythms of Dhani Gundecha and Dnyaneshwar Deshmukh.

Dhani Gundecha is one of India’s leading young Dhrupad vocalists, carrying forward the legacy of the renowned Gundecha Brothers and the Dagar tradition. An A-Grade artist of All India Radio, she has performed extensively across India and internationally, including in the USA, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Germany and Canada.

Rooted in the profound discipline of Dhrupad, her singing unfolds through breath, resonance, awareness and silence. With patience and subtlety, each note is given space to breathe, inviting both singer and listener into a deeper state of attention.

Dnyaneshwar Deshmukh, recipient of the Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar from the Sangeet Natak Akademi and an A-Grade artist of All India Radio, is a distinguished Pakhawaj artist and senior disciple of Pt. Pandurang Appa Datar and the Gundecha Brothers.

His playing brings together the grounding force of Indian classical percussion with intricate rhythmic expression, creating a living dialogue between voice, rhythm and silence.

Together, Dhani Gundecha and Dnyaneshwar Deshmukh create an evening where Dhrupad becomes more than a performance—it becomes an invitation to slow down, listen deeply and experience sound as a meditative presence.
