Macha Gharibian – Solo Concert

French-Armenian pianist, singer, and composer Macha Gharibian will give a solo concert combining piano, vocals, and original compositions. Her musical universe lies at the crossroads of contemporary jazz, improvisation, and Armenian influences, offering an intimate, poetic, and deeply expressive performance.

Macha Gharibian will be touring Thailand, with performances at the Thailand International Jazz Conference (Mahidol University) and in Phuket, before stopping in Bangkok for this special concert.

About the Artist

Hypnotic and deeply expressive, Macha Gharibian, Révélation des Victoires du Jazz 2020 (France), presents a live performance of her fourth album, Phenomenal Women, at the crossroads of her many musical heritages.

A classically trained pianist with a delicate touch, she is also a singer, author, composer, arranger, and producer of her own albums. It was through her immersion in the New York jazz scene that she shaped her unique musical universe, infused with the imprints of her multiple cultures.

Armenian by heritage, Parisian at heart, and New Yorker by adoption, Macha Gharibian has forged a personal style that is urban, crossover, and resolutely modern.
