There are times when the body asks us to stop—not to withdraw from life, but to listen more closely.
Held around the full moon, Lunar Yin & Pins is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your body and make space for genuine rest. Yin Yoga, optional acupuncture, live sound healing and Yoga Nidra are woven together into a gradual journey from movement into stillness, and from effort into rest.
You do not need to arrive feeling calm, flexible or prepared. Simply come as you are.
About the Experience
The practice begins with a grounding sequence of long-held Yin Yoga postures. Rather than striving or pushing deeper, you will be encouraged to soften into each shape at your own pace, giving the body time to open naturally.
Live sound from Tibetan and crystal singing bowls accompanies the practice, creating a steady thread as your attention begins to turn inward.
The Yin sequence gradually leads into a final restorative posture. While the body rests, acupuncture points are introduced by a qualified Doctor of Acupuncture, drawing on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the body’s meridian system. Acupuncture is entirely optional.
As the needles remain in place, you will be guided into Yoga Nidra—a practice of conscious rest that allows the body to move toward sleep while awareness remains quietly present.
Words eventually give way to an extended sound bath. There is nothing left to follow and nothing you need to achieve. Simply lie down, receive and allow the experience to unfold in its own way.
After the practice, tea will be available for anyone who would like to stay, connect and return to the rest of their day slowly.
