The Little Farmer Journey

1. Meet the Makers: We begin with a gentle introduction to the heart of the farm. Children will get up close and personal with our friendly animals, including our baby goats, ducklings, and cats. They'll participate in gentle animal feeding and learn about the role each animal plays on the farm.

2. Seed to Sapling Adventure: Under guidance, your little farmer will dive into the science of gardening! They'll learn about healthy soil and compost, and discover how tiny seeds become mighty plants.

3. Grow Your Own Project: The ultimate reward! Using their own ceramic planting pot, children will plant a young sapling to nurture. They'll use their hands and the provided tools to complete their very first serious gardening project.

4. Farm Fun & Games: Test their aiming skills with our lighthearted "Catch the Goat" Ring Toss game! (Don't worry, no real goats are involved—only fun targets!).

5. Take-Home Treasure: The experience finishes with a sense of pride as they take their planted sapling and pot home—a living souvenir to remind them to Slow Down, Connect Deeply, and keep growing!

What's Included:

• Hands-on Materials: Use of all gardening tools during the activity.

• Take-Home Kit (1 per person):

  • One ceramic planting pot (to plant in and take home).

  • One sapling (to plant and take home).

  • Soil and compost required for planting.

What's Not Included:

• Food, snacks, and other drinks are available to purchase separately from Noni's Farm Cafe.

• Gardening tools and extra soil, seeds, saplings, and compost are available for purchase from our Farm Nursery for those who want to continue their gardening journey.
