IGNITE, the annual fundraising gala presented by Green School Foundation, brings together  philanthropists,  creatives, and community leaders, changemakers, for a very special evening in the heart of the Green School jungle.

This year's theme, The Chronicles of Nusantara, draws inspiration from the stories, traditions, and living heritage of the Indonesian archipelago. Through immersive performances, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences, we will journey through the richness and diversity of Nusantara celebrating the wisdom carried through generations and reflecting on the stories we choose to preserve, share, and carry forward.

A Four-Hands Culinary Experience

At the heart of the evening will be a special culinary collaboration between two generations of Indonesian culinary talent: Chef William Wongso and Chef Jero Yudi. Chef William Wongso, one of Indonesia's most respected culinary figures, has spent more than five decades championing Indonesian cuisine and its cultural heritage, helping introduce the extraordinary diversity of the archipelago's flavours to audiences around the world. Joining him is Chef Jero Yudi, bringing his deep connection to Balinese ingredients, traditions, and local culinary knowledge to the collaboration. Together, they have created a family-style set dinner inspired by the flavours and heritage of Nusantara, a shared table designed to bring people together through food. The menu will feature a thoughtful selection of vegan and non-vegan dishes, allowing everyone to experience the evening's culinary journey together.

At its heart, IGNITE is about creating opportunity. Every contribution raised through the evening supports the Green School Foundation's mission to empower the next generation of environmental leaders. Your support helps expand our Environmental School Project, working with local schools to develop regenerative, hands-on sustainability initiatives that transform learning into action. It also supports  Agricultural University Scholarships for the children of farmers, creating pathways for young Indonesians to pursue higher education while honouring their roots and developing the knowledge and skills to shape a more resilient and sustainable future.
