4 ARTISTS. 4 CITIES. 1 FINAL SHOWCASE IN BANGKOK.
Road to FAM is a multi-city music series created with 88rising to spotlight emerging talent across Southeast Asia. The series toured Asia before making its final stop in Bangkok as part of the Official Music Program for Splash - Soft Power Forum.
In May, the Road to FAM multi-city music series toured Manila with Zack Tabudlo (PH), Singapore with FARIZ JABBA (SG), Kuala Lumpur with ZAMAERA (MY), and Jakarta with RAMENGVRL (ID). All four artists will land in Bangkok for the final showcase on July 9th transforming Hua Lamphong Train Station into an entertainment experience joined by Thai headliner, MILLI (TH).
HEADLINER: MILLI
MILLI is a Thai rapper who rose to global prominence through 88rising’s Head in the Clouds collaborations and cross-genre work with artists like Jackson Wang. She made history in 2022 as the first Thai solo artist to perform at Coachella. There, her viral “Mango Sticky Rice” performance, complete with onstage dessert-eating – sparked global headlines and landed her on BBC’s 100 Women 2022 list. Known for hits like “Sudpang” and “Phak Khon”, she most recently brought Muay Thai legend Buakaw Banchamek onstage during her set at this year’s Head in the Clouds Festival in Los Angeles.
Fresh off these milestones, MILLI will headline alongside Road to FAM artists, plus soon-to-be-announced Thai talents, uniting Southeast Asia’s music scenes for one night at Road to FAM – The Finale in Bangkok.
LINEUP
Fariz Jabba – the raw storyteller blending hip-hop with narratives of urban Southeast Asian life, known for viral tracks like “Ape Sia”. He headlined Road to FAM’s show in Singapore, lighting up the venue with narrative-driven rap odes to street life (“X Games”, “Dark Thoughts”), Y2K glitch visuals, and a mid-set tribute to his fiancée.
RAMENGVRL – the 5-time Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) award-winning rapper from Indonesia, who gained fame following the release of “Cashmere”. RAMENGVRL headlined Road to FAM Jakarta, where she rewrote hip-hop’s rules with razor-sharp lyricism on tracks like “Vaselina” or “Be My Baby” as local fans rapped and sang word-for-word.
Zack Tabudlo – the viral balladeer and the Philippines’ first male solo artist to achieve 1 billion streams on Spotify. Zack Tabudlo, transformed his hometown venue with a headlining show in Manila through soul-baring anthems like “Victim”, “Diving”, and “MANLOLOKO”, blurring Tagalog and English.
ZAMAERA – the female rapper who became a pioneering force in Malaysia’s rap scene after releasing her viral track “Helly Kelly”. She headlined Road to FAM in Kuala Lumpur, turning heads at the sold-out show in her denim-clad swagger while belting catchy anthems like “Helly Kelly”, while igniting the crowd into full-on dance breaks.
Further artists to be announced.
Road to FAM – The Finale is proud to be part of the Official Music Program for Splash - Soft Power Forum, curated by 88rising and Future Asian Music.
