This Fourth of July and Canada Day weekend, Dangerous Mic and Leaf, Laugh, Love are heading to the capital with a comedy show that’s louder than a firecracker in a Tim Hortons and funnier than a bald eagle in a MAGA tank top.

Bangkok Night Live: Standup Comedy Freedom Special is your chance to celebrate friendship, fun, and the ridiculousness of North American life with a lineup of comics ready to set the stage ablaze with red, white, and booze-fuelled punchlines.

Gregory Andersen (CAN) 🇨🇦

As Canadian as apologising for apologising, Greg’s been hitting stages across Southeast Asia for over a decade. With roots in Sudbury and years spent performing in Vietnam, he’s best known for his podcast Hanoi Famous and talk show Midnight Curfew. Think raw honesty meets NHL-level body-check punchlines.

Daniel Holmes (USA) 🇺🇸

New Orleans-born and now Bangkok-based, Holmes combines dry wit and sharp social commentary with a healthy dose of international misadventure—including surviving Wuhan lockdowns. When he’s not ranting on stage, he’s writing humour columns for The Thaiger News and roasting kombucha bros.

Mike Sandoval (USA) 🇺🇸 

A veteran of the Los Angeles underground comedy scene and a graduate of the Second City Hollywood Improv School, Mike has  worked with many great comedians and musicians. His 2018 screenplay was turned into the short comedy film "Ain't Nothing But Heaven." Full of embarrassingly funny stories, Mike will have to feeling good about your life choices. 

Jock Mackay (SCO) scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This musical comedy bard from Scotland is bringing his guitar, charm, and a satchel full of spicy song parodies to Bangkok for the first time. You’ll be singing along one minute and doubled over the next as Jock fuses melody with mischief in a truly unforgettable set.

Alex Latour – Founder of Leaf, Laugh, Love and host of The Thaiger News. Whether he’s riffing on politics, pop culture, or Pattaya nightlife, Alex brings a mix of sharp satire and crowd-teasing charm.

Philip Füx – The mad genius behind Dangerous Mic. Born and raised in Canada he’s graced the stages of Yuk Yuk’s, Absolute Comedy and has millions of views on his instagram skits.
