50/Fifty is the Work-in-Progress Debut Solo show by Ankita Ghosh, the Indian comedian who started doing comedy in Vietnam 7 years ago and is currently at the helm of Saigon International Comedy. The show will be held at the AVVE bar in the W district, 8th February, 7:30pm.

This show is called 50/Fifty because Ankita just turned 50 and immediately the number of F*&%s she was giving, reached a dangerous low and a lot of mixed feelings rose up to the surface, making her sit on the fence on a lot of issues. Issues that she deeply cares about, like… her mom, men, global politics, men, India, men etc. 

In the past 7 years she has performed in Los Angeles, London, Edinburgh, Berlin, Munich, Prague, Vienna, Dubai, Melbourne, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Hanoi, Koh Samui, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and so on.
She debuted and did a successful 12-day run of the double headliner show “Gen-XXX” with Aussie comic Arti Vincent at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2025. She also performed a double headliner show “Lost & Found” at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Camden Fringe Festival, London in 2022. 

She has produced, hosted and opened for numerous international headliners in Saigon including Jamali Maddix (UK), Adam Bloom (UK), Ron Josol (USA), Olga Koch (UK), April Macie (USA), He Huang (Aus/Chn), Kavin Jay (Malaysia), Sam See (Sg), Papa CJ (Ind), Steven Briggs (USA) and so on. In 2025 Ankita won Best Comedian at the People’s Pick Awards by “Where In HCMC (a unit of Where In Vietnam)”.
